Please give us a short summary of your website?

The premier industrial resource for CNC Machining. The manufacturers, distributors and service companies featured in the extensive ThomasNet.com directory offer a wide assortment of CNC machining equipment and services, including manual and 4-axis machining as well as prototyping services.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

This is not my own website above, I am working for the, but I started alexcreativeconsulting.com as a way to get my work out there on the net to direct people to it.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

about a year ago it was alexcreativeconsulting.com and hampshirehouseacf.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

i wrote a bunch down and narrowed it down. availability was a big thing too.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

not much, my creative and unique nature

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

all of the above

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

very little overhead, so i fair out good.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

good question, I would probably invest it in the stock market

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

sure, i would hire my friends

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Godaddy. just kidding i love them

What has been your biggest challenge?

paying the bills

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

spam. just kidding, just word of mouth is best, some viral marketing.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

it wasnt

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
