Name of your website?

CNCexpo

Your name?

Bruce Johanningmeier

Your Location (city, etc)

Seattle

Please give us a short summary of your website?

I am still working on it but it is about learning about how to maintain, operate, program, and CNC manufacturers.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I troubleshoot and repair CNCs and CMMs.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched my first werbsite in 1998. It was for my son and my ISP and network building, repair business.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

There weren't many choices, most domains that make sense where taken. I took what I thought was the best of what was left.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

My plan is to have maintaining CNCs the primary goal of the website. Leveling, aligning, calibrating, troubleshooting, etc.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep it for income and hobby since I am in that line of work.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I am doing it in my spare time.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would hire someone else to develope the website for me.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting known.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

None so far.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I don't have any expectations so far, just hopes.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

It is just beginning, if it works I will keep it up as long as I can.

Do you enjoy working with CNCs

Yes

What is your website address?

CNCexpo
