Please give us a short summary of your website?

Laser cutting can provide parts from simple designs to very complex designs. From custom designed parts to specialized letters, numbers and designs for signs. Parts can be micro or as big as 60" by 120".

We have a rotational head that can tubing. Very few materials cannot be laser or waterjet cut.

Ameristar Laser can maintain tolerances of + or - .002. We are an excellent source for prototype parts, with turn around on quotes within 24 hours and parts usually within one week or less. Production parts are also no problem.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Ameristar Laser started in business in 1981. We hired Jaworski & Associates as manufacturer's representatives to handle our sales and marketing. This web site was implemented as a tool to promote our services on the web and to complement the telemarkteing efforts of Jaworski & Associates.

What types of machines do you have?

Ameristar Laser uses Mitsubishi Laser Cutting Systems' 4000 watt lasers. This system provides a cleaner laser cut edge resulting in nicer looking laser cut parts. You can view more details about these machines here: http://www.laser-cutting.djmetalrep.com/laser-cutting_summary.html.

Laser cut parts fit together better due to the clean edge surfaces. This is particularly beneficial on prototype parts as well as production runs.

Are there any tooling or engineering charges for laser cutting?

Ameristar Laser Cutting Inc does not charge for tooling or engineering charges. This reduces the costs associated with protoytpes, as well as production parts. CAD files in IGES or DXF format can be input directly into the program of the laser machine eliminating tooling or engineering charges.
