By Tom Brown at 10/22/08 14:13

The Mach series software was developed originally for the home hobbyist, but has become a very versatile control package used by industry as well.

Some of the basic features and functions that Mach3 provides are:

  • Direct import of DXF, BMP, JPG and HPGL files through LazyCam
  • M-Codes and Macros are customizable using VBscript
  • Standard PC is converted to a fully featured 6 axis CNC controller
  • Gcode is generated via LazyCam or Wizards
  • Interface is fully customizable
  • Touch screen option
  • Multiple relay control
  • Spindle speed control

This great software is successfully in use for lathes, lasers, engravers, plasma, gear cutters, mills, and routers.

If you are in the market for a budget friendly CNC program, be sure to check out the Mach series.
