Position: As a vital member of the Senior Management Team, you will oversee all aspects of Machine Shop operations, personnel, strategic planning, client service and development, and emerging technology implementation. Reporting to the Executive Vice President you will grow this division in personnel, service and business development and be instrumental in taking the company to the next level of business expertise and market share. Working closely with the Project Management team you will service accounts through new machine and part development, capital equipment projects, tool, die and fixture development; proactive and critical preventative maintenance. Accountabilities include project cost estimation and quotations, client service, relations and development; hiring, performance management, operations and personnel planning, scheduling and training. Tool and equipment purchasing, stores inventory and health and safety management are also accountable for running your shop efficiently and productively. You will be a mentor to both peers and staff and be a valued team collaborator with all personnel. Requirements: Certified machinist with conventional and CNC experience; welding experience with a knowledge of metallurgy, CNC programming experience and the ability to mechanically reproduce client blueprints and design sketches. A proven record of success (or ability) to effectively lead and grow a team of millwrights and machinists, the ability to take ownership of a thriving business enterprise and, excellent team, interpersonal and communication skills will make you a contender for this excellent opportunity.
