Anti-Vibration Pads Interview

By Interviewer at 10/31/07 15:06

Name of your website?

Anti-Vibration Pads

Your name?

Mary Snow

Your Location (city, etc)

Franklin, MA 02038

Please give us a short summary of your website?

In answer to the need to have an economical way to level and isolate freestanding machines and equipment for all types of requirements, CLARMAC™ Pad Paks are now available to purchase online from our new web site -- in weight ranges up to 28,000 pounds per machine with three pad types to provide shock, vibration isolation, high damping and leveling.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

These Pad Paks were never availble before for smaller loads and we decided to make them known and available on the Internet so that smaller companies could buy them without shipping costs

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Our first web site to order products from was: washingmachinepads.com It was launched in April of this year and provides the regular consumer with a way to purchase neat little pads that go under their washing machines to keep them from shaking and causing noise and damage. The product has been found and has become very popular and well-liked (because it works). We also ship the anti-vibration washing machine pads for free!

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It is what it is: Anti-vibrationpads.com It was good that the name was available and it works well for people to remember.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

The pads offered on this site are in limited sizes and meet smaller machine requirements for isolation and leveling. It's much more cost effective for customers to purchase pads from this site than from any other source.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

It is a source of revenue.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I don't know yet about this site. We had one sale so far. It launched last week.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

The product offering is what it is and the site functions well and uses PayPal, which is a cost-effective way of payment processing - also secure.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes we have unlimited supply of PadPaks available.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting the web site up and functioning was the biggest challenge.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Press releases and large publishing company web sites that promote products.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is as expected

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We will keep it up as long as we can and as long as we have customers. Hopefully, that will be a long time.

What do you think of Directory Classifieds1000?

Thanks for the opportunity to get this site out and noticed. Hopefully it will save people and companies money and provide a product that performs to expectations. We thank you and hope we have another product to submit to you soon!!

What is your website address?
